Störling Conservatory of Dance equips artists in excellence and educated artistic expression to fill the world with the beauty and truth of the Gospel and biblical reality. We offer a bachelor’s degree and a one-year, non-accredited Certificate in Dance.

Birthed from the professional dance company, Störling Dance Theater, you will be well-equipped to succeed through experienced faculty, real-world opportunities and the supportive, family community for which Störling is known.

Störling Conservatory is located in the Kansas City metro, featuring both in-person and online classes.

  • With a college dance degree, students will expand and refine their technical skills as a performer, choreographer and teacher. They will also learn about other avenues within the field of dance they can choose to pursue, including production, costuming and dance medicine/science.

  • In order to enroll in Störling Conservatory, you will audition for Störling Conservatory's dance program. Upon acceptance into the dance program, based on that audition, you will be invited to submit your college entrance application.

  • No! You can submit a video audition online. However, if you are able to attend the Störling Conservatory Experience and audition weekend in person, we have some pretty fun perks, including qualifying for a $10,000 scholarship (see qualifications) and the benefit of experiencing first hand what makes Störling Conservatory so special!

    Pro Tip: Our largest scholarships are currently based on audition and application date; so the earlier you audition and complete your application, the greater your scholarship could be!

  • Studying in a conservatory setting means there is an emphasis on students gaining a quality education and practical, real-world experience in the field of their interest. That means the required classes have direct application to students growth and learning as an artist and impactful member of society.

  • Störling Conservatory uses a hybrid model. Some academic courses are offered as online courses while all movement courses are held in person.
