Video Audition Requirements

Please select one of the two options listed below for your video audition. We are now accepting video auditions.

Option One

Please include the following combinations in your audition video. The total audition should be included in one (1) video and should not exceed 15 minutes. A YouTube link is preferred.

BALLET BARRE (only one side is necessary)

·         Plie with Port de Bras

·         Tendu and Degage

·         Fondu, Rond de Jambe, Developpe

·         Frappe and Grand Battement

BALLET CENTER (both sides)

·         Adagio

·         Waltz (including extensions and pirouettes)

·         Petit and Grand Allegro

MODERN/CONTEMPORARY

Two (2) combinations or previous performance clips that demonstrate two (2) different styles of movement and/or dramatic expression.

Option Two

If you have previously recorded a video audition from this school year or have a current dance video that satisfies several of the above requirements, you may submit that video as your audition. The director, Kathleen Schuler, will determine if additional video is necessary to complete your audition.
